Klopp dismisses ‘bullsh*t’ claims he shouted at two players

Jurgen Klopp has dismissed reports from Tuesday that claimed he had shouted at Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane in the aftermath of Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United.

After Liverpool’s stalemate at Old Trafford, The Sun claimed that Klopp ‘went ballistic’ after Henderson appeared to ignore his manager’s handshake after being substituted.

Liverpool’s lack of cutting edge in the final third was apparent as they also struggled to create chances with the report adding that Mane also came under fire from Klopp after his poor display.

However, Klopp has rubbished that anything of the sort happened and says Henderson wasn’t even in the dressing room.

“There was nothing afterwards in the dressing room or whatever,” Klopp said.

“Someone told me that I shouted at Hendo and Sadio in the dressing room, I could have shouted but Hendo wasn’t even there.

“It’s bull****. Nowadays people don’t even need any kind of evidence or proof to write a story.

“Nothing happened after the game. We were completely fine. We spoke about the game, the opportunity we had and the things we did, and then we drove home.”
