Ryan Sessegnon reveals his love for Liverpool and how he group up idolising Steven Gerrard

Ryan Sessegnon has revealed he grew up supporting Liverpool and idolising midfield legend Steven Gerrard.

The 18-year-old was wanted by Jurgen Klopp in the summer after an impressive season in the Championship as Fulham earned promotion back to the Premier League.

Sessegnon has featured regularly for Fulham this season, making 19 appearances for them in the 2018/19 campaign.

His goal in a 4-2 defeat to Cardiff meant he became the first player born in the 2000’s to net in the competition.

Speaking on the third episode of BT Sport’s What I Wore series, Sessegnon revealed his admiration for the club he watched as a child.
