West Ham United fan throws horse manure at Birmingham City supporters prior to FA Cup clash at London Stadium

A West Ham United fan was caught throwing horse manure at Birmingham City supporters before their FA Cup clash on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers progressed to the fourth round of the famous competition thanks to goals from Marko Arnautovic and Andy Carroll.

However, much of the focus before the game was on the extra police presence around the London Stadium.

Despite the victory and the successful debut of Samir Nasri, the game may well be remembered for one West Ham fan throwing horse manure at the travelling supporters.

The video, posted on Twitter by @Footy, shows a fan taunting the Blues fans before picking up the faeces from the floor and launching them.

Since going viral, the video has received both condemnation and praise in equal measure from fans across multiple social media platforms.

Twitter user @AlexRayman17 wrote: “I have just witnessed a man (West Ham fan) pick horse poo and proceed to launch it over Birmingham fans. Best thing I’ve ever seen.”

While @SimonKeeves wrote: “West ham fans throwing horse s**t at the blues. Joke of a club no atmosphere.”
