As part of the international H&M group, COS is now also available at department store Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street. The shop-in-shop is situated on the second floor and features a selected capsule collection of key ladies wear pieces.
COS’ Creative Director Rebekka Bay comments: “We are really excited about this opportunity and look forward to showing an edited version of the COS women’s collection in a multi brand setting.”
For Autumn/Winter 2009 COS has been inspired by Hammershoi’s paintings, Yves Saint Laurent’s early work and Andy Warhol. This collection is about sharp shoulders, asymmetric hems, stretch silks and compact wools.

With the launch of COS for Selfridges shop the total comes to 22 spread over seven countries including UK, Germany, France, Holland, Denmark, Spain and Belgium.
