This ‘Messy’ Old Lady Was Refused A Seat In Mumbai Local, And Turned Out To Be A Star!

Mumbai is known to be one of the most resilient cities in the world. With its unstoppable pace, indomitable spirit and the sheer will to move on from tragedy can sometimes make it seem heartless too. Or,at least, it seemed to in the case of this old woman who was not given a seat on a local train due to her messy appearance.

A woman who goes by the Twitter handle @EmpoweringGoa tweeted on Wednesday about this incident.While travelling from Churchgate local to Virar, when she met an old lady in tattered clothes and an overflowing bag full of clothes.

Nobody made space for the frail lady when she asked a couple of ladies to move for her to sit. Later, the old lady found space next to this woman, and she turned out to be an inspiring star. In a Twitter thread, she narrated the entire incident inside a Mumbai local.
