2018 Commonwealth Games: Punam Yadav, Who Won Weightlifting Gold, Allegedly Attacked Over Land Dispute

The Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 gold medallist weightlifter Punam Yadav was allegedly targeted when she tried to stop her relatives and their neighbours from fighting in Rohania area. Police were investigating the matter.

According to reports, Punam, who had arrived her Dandupur village on April 13, had gone to meet her uncle Kailash Yadav in Mungwar village under Rohania police station on April 14.
