Tama Tonga Wishes Elite Luck in WWE, Henry on SD, HBK vs. Styles?

The rumors that have been on the minds of practically every wrestling fans over the past few weeks have been the ones suggesting that The Elite may join WWE once they all become free agents in 2019. The likes of Kenny Omega, Adam Page, and The Young Bucks will all be able to join the company very soon, but until then, The Elite will continue to feud with the Bullet Club’s Tama Tonga. Interestingly, when responding to the members of the Elite distancing themselves from the Bullet Club lately on social media, Tama Tonga added that he is wishing the group good luck in WWE. The gang will continue to compete outside of WWE for the time being, but early 2019 will definitely be an interesting time for The Elite.

WWE will be hosting its 1000th episode of SmackDown in just a couple of hours now. Tonigh’s show will have a number of different guest stars making cameos throughout the night in honor of the show’s huge episodic milestone. The likes of Batista and Edge have already been confirmed, but a WWE Hall of Famer now appears to be joining the list of reported former stars appearing on the program tonight. According to a report from PWInsider, Mark Henry will be backstage during tonight’s show. It seems likely that he will be making some sort of an appearance on SmackDown 1000. Expect to see Henry, The Brothers of Destruction, and so much more during SmackDown 1000 tonight at 8pm ET on the USA Network.

Shawn Michaels will be coming out of retirement to team up with Triple H to face Kane and The Undertaker at Crown Jewel next month, but that may not be the only match that he is set to compete in over the next few months. According to WrestleTalk, WWE may be planning a huge match involving Michaels for WrestleMania in 2019. A ‘dream match’ between the HBK and current WWE Champion AJ Styles is now reportedly on track to take place at WrestleMania 35 in April of next year. Of course, WWE has not confirmed this match and plans could always change, but at the moment, this is one long-desired match that fans may finally be able to see during WWE’s return to the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey next year.

A source inside WWE has said current plans are for Shawn Michaels to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania 35.https://t.co/EVZhGAByaj
