Card for WWE Evolution Leaked? Vega on Losing Her Father on 9/11

Earlier this year, WWE announced that they would be hosting a pay-per-view consisting entirely of female performers, which will make it the first all-women’s wrestling event in the company’s history. WWE has established the female members of their roster as legitimate competitors, and that is why they will have their own show in October that will also feature names from the past and future stars from NXT in addition to the current women of Raw and SmackDown. Several matches have already been announced for the show so far, including Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss,  Lita vs. Mickie James, and the finals of the Mae Young Classic, but it appears now that the entire card for the historic pay-per-view this fall may have just been leaked online.
Photos and reports online posted recently seem to show a booking sheet featuring all of the matches and segments that will be taking place during Evolution. While this is not the confirmed card at the moment, the details posted should be considered as potential SPOILERS for Evolution. Among the matches is an NXT UK Women’s Championship match featuring the members of the NXT UK roster, Kairi Sane defending the NXT Women’s Championship, Melina returning for a match against Naomi, and the announcement and match to crown Women’s Tag Team Champions. Carmella is also reportedly set to speak with the stars of Netflix’s GLOW during a talk show segment early on during the event. If WWE announces any of these for Evolution over the next few weeks, this could definitely prove to be a legitimate leaked lineup.

Zelina Vega has been climbing to the top of the wrestling industry for years now and she has passed just about every obstacle that has stood in her way. She is currently working for WWE on the SmackDown brand as the business manager for former NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas, and the two of them have reportedly impressed several key WWE officials. During an interview with WWE earlier today, Vega talked a bit about her time in wrestling before discussing how she tragically lost her father during the September 11th terrorist attacks seventeen years ago today. Zelina says that she has dedicated her wrestling career to her father and hopes to pay tribute to her father each time that she steps in the ring.
