Elias’ Album is Out, Paige Announces SD Tag Tournament Members

There was once a time when Elias was absolutely despised in WWE, especially during his days in NXT, but he himself has admitted before that Triple H said that his “Drifter” gimmick would be a better fit for the main roster. That has proven to be the case as Elias has managed to surprise everybody by becoming a true fan-favorite ever since he first joined the Raw roster. Elias has now performed at WrestleMania and in several cities across the world, he’s wrestled the likes of John Cena and Seth Rollins, and he also recently announced that he will be releasing his very own debut musical album. Just in case there was ever any doubt, Elias’ album is definitely real and can be streamed online right now.
Elias has been hyping up the arrival of his first official album during his promos on Raw for weeks now, but fans remained skeptical and were unsure if a full album would truly be coming out, but there is definitely no doubt now as Elias’ album is now available online to stream. Four songs appear on the album, including “Elias’ Words,” “The Ballad of Every Town I’ve Ever Been To,” “Nothing I Can’t Do,” and finally “Walk With Me.” As reported earlier this week, a mockumentary showing the making of the album over WrestleMania weekend will be airing on the WWE Network on July 30th. Until then, fans can listen to Elias’ first musical album, which is appropriately called Walk With Elias, now on Spotify.
Smackdown General Manager Paige announced on social media yesterday that there will be a tournament taking place on Smackdown over the next three weeks. The tournament will see four teams from the Smackdown roster battle in order to determine the next number one contenders for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. In the original announcement, none of the four teams were announced, but Paige has since taken care of that. It now appears that The New Day, The Usos, The Bar, and SAnitY will be participating in the tournament. The winners will be receiving their tag team title match against The Bludgeon Brothers at the SummerSlam event in Brooklyn, New York next month
