Hogan Teases October Announcement, Miz Refuses SummerSlam Match

Hulk Hogan has once again managed to get the wrestling world talking as speculation on his relationship with WWE continues to grow. “The Hulkster” was recently reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame and appeared backstage at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in July to apologize to the WWE roster members for making racist comments three years earlier. Hogan has still not signed any sort of new deal with the company and WWE is obviously taking a very slow approach when it comes to doing business with him. Although very few know for sure when or if Hulk Hogan will be returning to WWE soon, but a new proclamation from the former world champion may end up serving as a noteworthy update.
The National Sports Collectors Convention took place yesterday at the IX Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and Hulk Hogan was in attendance to meet fans and sign autographs. During his time at the convention, Hogan alerted fans that he will be making a major announcement on October 27th of this year. Hogan was spotted with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall earlier this week, and several rumors have stated that there are plans for some sort of NWO reunion to be airing soon. There is no word on whether or not this is what the planned October announcement is for, or if WWE is involved in the project in any way, but fans can now look forward to seeing Hogan’s huge reveal when October rolls around later this year.

The Miz and Daniel Bryan have been at odds for quite some time now, and it appears as if WWE will finally have the two of them compete in a match at the SummerSlam event later this month. The two WWE Superstars have been feuding for years now, and Daniel Bryan has been calling out The Miz ever since he was cleared to return to the ring earlier this year. Buildup for a possible match has begun to accelerate on Smackdown recently, but The Miz has just turned down Bryan’s request for a match. Miz just posted a video on Instagram wherein he plainly refused Bryan’s challenge for a match earlier this week. With only a few weeks left to go until SummerSlam, only time will tell if the grudge match will finally be taking place soon.

The answer is NO.
