Jim Neidhart Laid to Rest Today, Jordan Learning Backstage in WWE
Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart passed away earlier this week after he fell and hit his head in his home. The former WWE Tag Team Champion was said to have to have gotten up one night to change the thermostat in his home when his wife saw him beginning to twitch as if he was having a seizure. After Neidhart’s wife had called the police, Neidhart died due to the impact of the fall that took place. Neidhart’s daughter, Raw Superstar Natalya, was taken off of WWE television, and she likely will not be at SummerSlam this Sunday night. Several other fans and peers of Him Neidhart have all paid tribute and have expressed their deepest condolences, and WWE dedicated all of this week’s programming to “The Anvil.”
PWInsider reports that services for Jim Neidhart officially took place earlier today and he has just been laid to rest in Florida. Neidhart was 63-years-old at the time of his death. Natalya recently took the time to write an open letter on The Calgary Sun wherein she talked about the kind of person that her father truly was. Natalya mentioned that Neidhart was a fantastic father that she has always looked up to, and that her dad was one of her biggest supporters who was never afraid to offer his advice and insight about the business or life in general. Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart’s time in WWE as a member of The Hart Foundation continues to be look back on fondly by wrestling fans and his legacy definitely will not be forgotten any time soon.
Jason Jordan was a star on the rise in WWE prior to a neck injury that he received earlier this year. It was recently reported that his injury has not fully healed and he will not be returning to the ring for the foreseeable future. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jordan has still continued to appear backstage during recent WWE shows. It was noted in the reports that Jordan has begun shadowing some backstage producers in WWE and is learning the ropes from a behind the scenes perspective. Jason Jordan is still a young competitor whose career has only just begun, so hopefully he will be able to step back into the ring and pick up where he left off within the next few months.
