Sheamus Reveals Neck Injury
In a recent video that has been uploaded on Youtube, Sheamus reveals that he has had an ongoing issue with Stenosis in his neck. Stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal column that can constrict the spinal cord. It can cause pain from the pinched nerves as well as numbness in the hands and arms. This can be a very serious injury and a similar injury to the cervical spine is what made Edge retire a number of years ago. It is an injury any wrestlers face with the long-term abuse of their necks taking bumps, and if not treated right, can lead to some serious issues down the road. Sheamus doesn’t seem to be in that dire of a situation but in this video, he shows off how he has been rehabbing the injury with the help of a neck hammock. But, as we’ve seen in many other wrestlers, it is not something that should be taken lightly either.

He does not seem to have taken much time off for this injury so for the time being the injury doesn’t seem to be a serious one. It is not known when this video was filmed, but considering he is a very active member of the roster, so it doesn’t seem the injury is stopping him right now.
