Austin Aries Injured at WWE NXT Takeover, WWE and KFC, more

– Expect to see more WWE – KFC segments in the coming months. WWE confirmed on Monday that a series of segments will air during their programming from now until the 2017 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. For those who missed it, below is the first spot with Dolph Ziggler and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz.

– The first post-WWE title match for Cody Rhodes will take place on November 25th for the WrestleCade promotion in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Cody will be facing Global Force Wrestling’s Sonjay Dutt for his GFW NEX*GEN Title. Cody tweeted on the match:

– Austin Aries revealed on Twitter that he suffered a ruptured eardrum in the post-match attack from Hideo Itami at WWE NXT “Takeover: Brooklyn II” on Saturday night. He tweeted:

Ruptured eardrum at #NXTTakeOver thanks to sockless loafer boy, @HideoItami. Won’t cost much to repair, but I’ll save the receipt for you.
