At the NXT U.K. TV tapings today, a new match was confirmed for the upcoming WWE Evolution pay-per-view.

It was announced at the inaugural NXT U.K. TV tapings that Rhea Ripley will defend the NXT U.K. Women’s Championship against Isla Dawn at the all-women’s PPV later this month.

Ripley defeated Toni Storm in an 8-Woman Tournament to become the first-ever NXT U.K. Women’s Champion. Her title match against Dawn at WWE Evolution will be the first high-profile defense of her championship.

The NXT U.K. TV series is scheduled to air in one-hour episode form beginning on October 17th at 3pm EST.
