Impact Wrestling On Pop TV Viewership Rises Again In Third Week On Channel
This week’s edition of Impact Wrestling, which featured Matt Hardy’s heel turn and TNA World Championship victory over Ethan Carter III, drew an extra 33,000 viewers for Pop TV compared to last week’s episode.
The Tuesday, January 19th edition of the show, which was taped in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania prior to airing on Pop TV, averaged 321,000 viewers. By comparison, last week’s Impact Wrestling show on Pop TV drew 288,000 viewers, and the first week’s show, which aired live on Pop TV on January 5th, drew 255,000 viewers.
Based on past ratings patterns, it appears that TNA is following the normal tradition of their audience slowly moving over to their new cable home over time, as the show has risen in viewership each week since moving to Pop TV.
