"ECW Original" Enters WWE-Sponsored Rehab, Hornswoggle Update, Hart Dynasty

— Former ECW performer Axl Rotten reportedly canceled an appearance at a Baltimore wrestling event in order to enter a drug rehabilitation facility for substance abuse addiction. WWE is footing the bill as part of their program to do so for any wrestler who was ever under contract. The hardcore wrestler was briefly under contract to the organization upon the relaunch of Extreme Championship Wrestling in 2006, but released before ever appearing on television.

— Hornswoggle will be not be appearing on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw so he can sell taking the Pedigree last week from Triple H. He is tentatively scheduled to return on next week’s show.

— The Hart Dynasty were originally scheduled to appear at a Toys for Tots benefit tonight in Stamford, Connecticut, but pulled so they could appear on Raw. Superstars on hand for the event include Matt Hardy, Beth Phoenix, Tommy Dreamer, Maria, Tiffany, Hornswoggle and Howard Finkel.
