The Honky Tonk Man Says He's Close To Signing With TNA Wrestling

The official website of The Honky Tonk Man is reporting that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion is “close to signing with TNA.”

The webmaster of the site notes says the two sides have been in talks since December.

The site’s claims have yet to be independently confirmed.

The Honky Tonk Man’s last stint on national television occurred in the fall of 2008 as part of Santino Marella’s attempt to beat his place as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all-time.
