Mustafa Ali Picks Up Another Big Win on Smackdown Live, Doubles Down on Championship Claims

Mustafa Ali picked up another huge win this Tuesday night on Smackdown Live, pinning the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura clean in the middle of the ring, in a non-title match. The two Superstars have engaged in quite a few matches recently, with Nakamura scoring the victory in their last exchange at this past weekend’s WWE SMACKVILLE live event.

Ali was interviewed backstage after the match and was asked what made all the difference and finally allowed him to get the victory over Nakamura. He claims actually being able to plan for his opponent and have a “heads up” for once was a big part of it, remaining focussed on his promise to become a champion in WWE. It’s possible the two may be added to next Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.
