WWE Superstar Ali Announces He’s Donating his ‘Super ShowDown’ Earnings to Charity

WWE Superstar Ali has announced via Twitter that he’s donating his Super ShowDown earnings to charity. The charity in question is an organization called Charity: Water, which was founded in 2006. The group’s mission is to provide clean drinking water to people who otherwise can’t access any, most notably, those living in developing nations.

Ali participated in the 50-Man Battle Royal at Super ShowDown, which was the largest battle royal of its kind in WWE history. Ali made it to the final five, before being eliminated by Cesaro.

Ali’s star has risen in WWE over the past several months. The former 205 Live standout has impressed on every level each time he’s had the opportunity since coming to the main roster and he’s built a great fan following as a result.

Ali went into Super ShowDown with the intention of being an inspiration to kids watching around the world. Many of those kids share Ali’s cultural background and he wanted to win the match for them. Though he didn’t get the victory, he continues to be a great example of what hard work and dedication can bring.

The Saudi Arabian Super ShowDown battle royal was actually won by Mansoor, who is a Saudi-born Superstar.

Earnings received today will be donated to @charitywater. Thank you.
