More Details On What Led To TJP Being Released

During the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided more details on why WWE decided to release TJP from the company.

According to Meltzer, TJP’s release took many people by surprise as WWE is making a point not to fire anyone since AEW was created, but the decision was made, in particular, due to disciplinary reasons.

The decision wasn’t down to a lack of creative ideas for him, as WWE Superstars who don’t have much creative direction are being held to contractual obligations, but WWE felt like parting ways with him needed to be done.
