Injured WWE Star Nearing Ring Return

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, injured WWE star Alicia Fox is expected to be returning to the ring soon. Johnson furthered that Fox is scheduled to be at upcoming WWE TV tapings, but her exact return date is unknown.

Fox has been out of action since sustaining an injury while training for the Women’s WWE Royal Rumble match back in January. The injury forced Fox out of the historic WWE bout.

Possible Reason Why Cruiserweight Title Aired on 205 Live & Not MITB

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE decided to have the Cedric Alexander vs Buddy Murphy Cruiserweight Title match take place on WWE 205 Live this week, as opposed to at Money in the Bank, because WWE wanted to run the hometown crowd angle with Alexander being that he is from North Carolina.

Meltzer also speculated that WWE does not need a Cruiserweight Title match for Money in the Bank given the PPV already boasts a stacked card with ten confirmed matches as of this writing.
