Gurugram Horror! Class 11 Student Accuses Father, Brother Of Sexual Assault

In a shocker from Gurugram, a 17-year-old girl has accused her father and brother of sexually assaulting her, police said on Tuesday, adding that a case has been registered.

Girl confessed to school principal, teachers

The incident, which took place in the Kherki Daula police station area, came to light after the victim, a class 11 student, informed her school principal and teachers that not only was she sexually assaulted, but the accused also threatened to kill her if she disclosed the matter to anyone, the police said.

Following her confession, she was immediately taken to the police station to report the matter.

A case has been registered against the two accused under sections of the POCSO Act.

“We are verifying the allegations and action will be taken as per the prescribed law, against the accused,” the station house officer (SHO) of Kherki Daula police station said.

2nd case in 2 weeks

 This comes just 2 weeks after a 45-year-old MCD school teacher in east Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar area was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an eight-year-old Class 3rd girl on the school premises, the police had said.  

The accused, identified as Umakant, a resident of Ghadoli Village Extension, had joined the MCD school in 2016. He held an additional charge of sports, DCP (East) Amrutha Guguloth said.

The incident took place when the child was allegedly lured by the man and taken to a secluded spot inside the school, where he sexually assaulted her.

The matter came to light when her mother got suspicious about her child’s behaviour. The eight-year-old narrated what had happened when her mother asked her about it.

The parents approached the police. A case has been registered against the accused teacher under Sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
