Manufacturing Building Concept Plan Approved In Lockport

LOCKPORT, IL — At its Wednesday meeting, the Lockport City Council approved a concept plan for a 122,600-square-foot building for manufacturing and assembly uses, in the Prime Business Park.

The building would have 12 loading bays on lots 9, 10 and 11 at Prime Business Park.

The concept plan is “unique,” since this is the first time a building would be built on speculation for “future unknown users,” council documents note.
