Woodbridge Bowling Alley Set To Close, Management Says
WOODBRIDGE, NJ – A longtime Woodbridge business will be closing.
Woodbridge Bowling Center, a Main Street mainstay for decades, is set to close its doors May 21, management said in a statement posted to its website.
The popular and beloved local bowling alley was owned for years by the DiSilvestro family.

“It is with the most heartfelt words that we let all of you know, after 40+ years under the management of Joey D and 20+ years under the ownership of the DiSilvestro’s, Woodbridge Bowling Center will be closing their doors at the end of the day May 21st,” the announcement reads. “It is time to take the next step in our lives and enjoy retirement.”
A final hurrah will take place on Memorial Day weekend, May 26 and 27 for bowlers, complete with farewell drink specials, the website posting reads.

MyCentralJersey first reported that the site is poised to become a self-storage warehouse. The facility touted over a dozen leagues as of last year, though the fate of the teams following the bowling center closure remains to be seen.
“We want to thank each and every one of you for all your love and support over the years,” the post adds. “WBC was not only a business to us, it was a family and we couldn’t have done it without all of you. We will cherish all the memories, relationships and the friends that became family along the way. We look forward to what the future holds and soaking in all the vitamin sea we can get.”
