​ 6th Drunken Driving Arrest For Downingtown Woman: West Chester Cops

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 57-year-old Downingtown woman is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $175,000 bail Monday after being charged for the sixth time with drunken driving, according to police.

Theresa A. Vacca was arraigned on Nov. 12 before District Judge Marian Vito on charges of drunken driving, driving with a suspended license, and related offenses.

Police said at 10:10 p.m. Nov. 11 Vacca was “highly intoxicated” when a vehicle she drove onto the front yard of a residence in the 400 block of Rosedale Avenue. A blood-alcohol test result was not available.

Vacca was charged with third-degree drunken driving, a felony that carries a penalty of seven to 10 years in jail and a fine of up to $25,000.

According to court records, on Nov. 2 Vacca was arraigned in Chester County Justice Center on charges of public drunkenness and simple assault in an unrelated incident on Sept. 25.
