Theodore Street Closed By Joliet Police After Motorcycle Wreck
JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department has shut down a portion of Theodore Street west of Route 59 because of a serious wreck involving a motorcycle rider. The police department’s crash reconstruction unit was on the scene around 7 p.m. investigating the crash.
The crash happened between 6 and 6:30 p.m. near Pebble Beach Drive and the Riverbrook Estates subdivision.
“Theodore Street is currently closed between Brighton Lane and River Road as officers investigate a major crash,” Joliet police announced on their Facebook page shortly after 7 p.m. “It is expected that the roadway will be closed for a significant amount of time. Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route. Please check back for further updates.”
