PNC Park Getting New Food Additions For Upcoming Pirates Season

PITTSBURGH, PA — Bring on the renegade hot dog.

Pittsburgh Pirates fans will find available at PNC Park this season the foot-long hot dog, pot roast, mini pierogis, caramelized onions and pickle slices on a hot dog bun. It’s one of the new additions announced by Amarark, serves more than 150 award-winning food and beverage, retail, and

facility service programs in stadiums, arenas, convention centers and other venues.

Also announced by the Philadelphia-based company: A new cheddar and chive bratwurst inside a Martin’s potato roll with peppers, onions, and deli brown mustard. (Chicken Pitt, Section 127).

PNC Park also is partnering with two local restaurants to bring Pittsburgh favorites to the park. LowKey Taco will have roasted corn on the cob, birria beef nachos, and caramel-stuffed churros at Nachorita (Section 138); and the Chicken on the Hill stand will offer fans chicken biscuits with house pickles, a menu concept developed in partnership with Coop de Ville (Section 144).

The Pirates home opener will occur April 5 against the Baltimore Orioles.
