Pedestrian Hit By Car At Westfield Intersection
WESTFIELD, NJ — A pedestrian was hit by a car on Friday afternoon in Westfield.
Westfield Police were called to the intersection of West South Avenue and Summit Avenue for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian at 12:58 p.m.
The pedestrian apparently sustained a minor leg injury, Chief Christopher Battiloro told Patch.

Battiloro said he was told the injury was not serious. The Westfield Rescue Squad responded and the pedestrian refused medical attention and was taken by police to her nearby Westfield home.
