Stabbing Results In 1 Hospitalized, Man Charged With Battery: Sheriff
OSWEGO, IL — A person was hospitalized and treated for a laceration after they were stabbed in a domestic battery incident Thursday, officials said.
Deputies from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded at 4:29 p.m. to a house in the 0-99 block of Leisure Lane in Oswego Township after receiving reports of a domestic battery. Officials determined “a knife was reportedly displayed during the course of the incident, Deputy Dan Briars told Patch.
Following an investigation, Zachary R. Patterson, 33, was taken into custody and charged with one count of aggravated domestic battery and two counts of domestic battery.

Patterson was processed at the Kendall County jail, where he remains in custody as of Friday. His bond is set at $100,000, with 10 percent to apply for bail. His next court date is set for May 5.
There is no known threat to the community at this time, Briars said.
