Car Jumps Curb, Crashes Into Liquor Store In Bridgewater
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A car crashed into a liquor store in Bridgewater on Friday afternoon.
On Nov. 10 at around 12:48 p.m., the Bridgewater Police went to the Bridgewater Liquor Warehouse at 573 Union Ave. for a report of a vehicle that hit the building, said Lt. Kevin Lamey.
An investigation found that a 2003 Nissan Extera, driven by Brony Morales Alvarez of Bound Brook, jumped the curb and hit the building, causing damage to the building, said Lamey.

No injuries were reported at the time of the crash. Alvarez was issued a summons for careless driving.
The Finderne Fire Department, Martinsville Rescue Squad, and Bridgewater Township Code Enforcement responded to the scene.

The building was determined to be safe and was allowed to remain open.
The Finderne Fire Department, which covers the southeast section of Bridgewater Township, is always looking for volunteers.
Volunteers are offered complete protective gear, free training, LOSAP (Length of Service Award Programs), a pay-per-call incentive, a life insurance/disability plan, and an in-house gym.
