Bramble fell in love with poetry at age 10. She said her first poetry reading was so enjoyable, that she ran to her mom and said, “I just found the best poem ever,” only to have her mother tell her it was an obituary page.
And over the years, Bramble kept her passion for creative writing alive. In 2021, she released her debut poetry book, “Lori’s Stories, Book One,” which garnered acclaim as a bestseller, and best new release on Amazon. Bramble said the success of her first book motivated her to continue sharing her thoughts and feelings with the world through her second publication.

Prior to 2020, after retiring, Bramble volunteered at Rhode Island nursing homes by providing pet therapy and reading her poems to the residents. Word spread quickly, and additional nursing homes started calling.
The next thing she knew, she was doing more volunteer work than her retirement desired. She said the COVID-19 pandemic slowed her readings, and she moved onto writing the books.
With her latest work, Bramble said she hopes to inspire aspiring writers to pursue their dreams despite any obstacles that may arise. Her words serve as a reminder that it is never too late to pursue one’s passions, and creative expression knows no boundaries.
“Lori’s Stories” is now available on Amazon.
