Officers urged residents to help prevent burglaries by parking in secure garages or well-lit areas, remove items from vehicles, leave noting in plain sight and ensure windows are up and doors are locked.
Motorists should also use a motion-sensing alarm system and a steering wheel locking device and remove garage door openers from their vehicles.
