Lock Windows And Doors, LAPD Warns, As 'Hot Prowl' Burglar Remains At Large
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police are warning Angelenos to lock their windows and doors as a “hot prowl” residential burglary suspect who sexually assaulted a woman remains at large.
The burglar struck several homes in the East Hollywood and Silver Lake area in the early morning Saturday. During one burglary, the suspect sexually assaulted a woman inside her home, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The term “hot prowl” refers to home invasions that take place while the occupants are inside.
