Government Bans ‘Unsafe’ Saridon & Other 327 Combination Drugs

The health ministry has, with immediate effect, put a ban on manufacture, sale, and distribution of 328 fixed-dose combinations (FDCs) of drugs and restricted another six. This marks an end of the legal battle between the ministry and the manufacturers of these drugs. The ministry has been working since 2016 to ban these “irrational” and “unsafe” drugs.
