‘He oozes class’ – West Ham United supporters impressed with Samir Nasri on his debut against Birmingham
It’s been 18 months since Samir Nasri last took to a football pitch to play a professional match but West Ham supporters are already convinced they have made a shrewd acquisition.
The ex-Manchester City and Arsenal midfielder has joined the club on a free transfer and made his debut in their 2-0 FA Cup win over Birmingham City.
It may have only been against a Championship side but supporters were more than happy with the former France international’s display at the London Stadium.
Nasri is being brought in to give the club more depth and a bit of extra creativity in midfield and he did exactly that, linking well with Marko Arnautovic while he was on the pitch and with the rest of him team-mates throughout his 58 minutes on the pitch.
And, as you can see below. fans on Twitter reckon he can offer them plenty in the final half of the season.
