Everton and Liverpool are both, reportedly, trying to sign talented midfielder Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.
Portuguese publication A BOLA has suggested the two Merseyside clubs are the clubs most interested in signing the 24-year-old.
He has a release clause in his contract of €100million but he could be available for around €40million.

What clubs has he played for?
Bruno Fernandes started off with Portuguese side Boavista but did not play any first-team games for them.
He joined Serie B side Novara in 2012 and making 23 appearances in his first season before Udinese signed him on a co-ownership deal and nurtured his talents for three seasons, where he scored 11 goals in 95 games.
A season at Sampdoria followed before an €8.5million transfer to Sporting before the 2017/18 season.
What is his style of play?
Fernandes is a central midfielder who has been compared to Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos but he likes to play further up the pitch to create chances for his attackers, play through balls and shoot from distance.
How has he performed this season?
WhoScored.com have him in their Portuguese League team of the season with an average rating of 7.64, with only Bas Dost rated higher.
He has six goals and five assists to his name.
Fernandes was also named as the 2017/18 Primeira Liga player of the year.
International career
Fernandes did not receive his first call up until in 2017 but was in Portugal’s World Cup squad and has 11 caps for his country.
Who are interested in him?
Liverpool and Everton are the front runners who want to sign him from Sporting Lisbon.
Tottenham Hotspur were heavily rumoured to be signing him last summer after Fernandes wanted to leave after a group of fans allegedly attacked players and trashed the club’s training ground when they missed out on Champions League qualification.
He later reversed his decision by could be heading to the exit soon.
