Paw Patrol: Puppy Rescued From Hole On Construction Site

TUCSON, AZ — Firefighters rescue more than just people, as evidenced by an unusual act of heroism displayed by Tucson’s Engine 8.

On Tuesday, firefighters from Engine 8 responded to an under-construction property, where a puppy had fallen into a 15-foot deep hole.

In a Facebook post, the fire department said it gave the puppy food and water after it was rescued and made sure it was healthy and safe, or, “good to go!”

The puppy was taken to the Pima Animal Care Shelter.

In a Facebook post, the animal care center said the puppy was found neck-deep in water and shaking near Fort Lowell and Oracle.

PACC Animal Protection Services Officer Sarah Girvin teamed up with the Engine 8 first responders to help extract the puppy.

The center said the puppy was given a bath and a checkup by its clinic.
