Matt Hardy made his return to the ring a couple of weeks ago over on SmackDown. He and his brother Jeff have reunited and are tearing up the tag team division on WWE’s blue brand right now, but Matt apparently came to WWE recently with a unique idea. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Matt Hardy has been pitching an idea to WWE creative which will see him portray the multiple characters that he has portrayed over the course of his career. This includes “Broken” Matt Hardy, “V1” Matt Hardy, and Big Money Matt. He posted a video of himself using his Big Money character this week as a way to build up support for his idea, and as a way to introduce him to WWE fans since he only portrayed this character in Impact Wrestling.

Sean Waltman indicated on one of his podcast shows that there will be a couple of changes to the Hall of Fame ceremony this year. It was later reported online that there won’t be inductors this year and that the speeches will be limited to 15 minutes. F4WOnline has just provided an update on some of the possible Hall of Fame changes that WWE will be introducing this year. This report confirmed that the company is looking into a couple of different format changes for this year’s ceremony. It was not confirmed what these changes will be, but the claim that the Hall of Fame speeches will be shortened to 15 minutes was denied. The Hall of Fame ceremony will be taking place on the night before WrestleMania 35.
