Randy Orton & Usos Leaving WWE Soon? Updates on Ziggler & Styles

All Elite Wrestling has yet to run a single show, but the promotion has already made a big impact on the pro wrestling landscape. Not only are some of the best independent talent already announced for AEW, but some familiar faces from WWE could be on their way soon as well. Names like The Revival, Mike Kanellis, Maria Kanellis, Dean Ambrose, and others are just a few of the names that have requested their releases from WWE. Of course, AEW isn’t the only promotion signing talent right now as ROH, MLW, Impact, NJPW, and other promotions are offering huge contracts to get wrestlers on board. Even more names could be on their way out of WWE soon and some of these individuals may be surprising.
Just days after it was reported by WrestleVotes that All Elite Wrestling made an “outstanding offer” to a major member of the WWE roster, it has now been reported by Fightful that the individual in question is Randy Orton. Fightful’s source even noted that Orton is “willing to talk” to AEW about a possible deal to come in, but this could also be a case of “The Viper” getting leverage for a better deal with WWE. Randy Orton is a multi-time world champion who has been wrestling for WWE since 2001. AEW has not officially offered Orton a deal yet as it would be considered contract tampering at this point. Losing Orton to AEW would be a big blow to WWE, but he may not be the only WWE Superstar who is weighing his options right now.
Fightful also says that The Usos have not re-signed with WWE as of yet. PWInsider later stated that The Usos will be free agents in April. The report mentioned that WWE and The Usos are discussing options for new contract now and Fightul noted that the brothers have “no intent to leave.” As for AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler, two other names whose contracts are supposedly expiring soon, they will likely be staying with WWE. Ziggler remaining in WWE seems to be a done deal while the company has been negotiating with Styles and aggressively trying to get him to re-sign with them. Whether WWE Superstars are announced or not, with AEW’s next rally set to take place tomorrow, some interesting developments regarding talent are bound to be shared.
