Last Two Teams in Women’s Tag Title Match, AEW at Super Bowl

One of the biggest matches set to take place at WWE’s Elimination Chamber show this year will be a match to determine the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. WWE announced that tag titles for the women’s division would be coming back earlier this year after years of being inactive, and the new titleholders will be determined at the upcoming Chamber pay-per-view. Tag teams from both Raw and SmackDown are competing in qualifying matches to determine who will enter the title match. Four out of the six teams have already been determined, however, it looks like a new commercial from WWE may have spoiled the final two teams that will be involved in the historic championship match later this month.
It has already been announced that Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville, Nia Jax & Tamina, and The IIconics will all be competing for the new titles, but the final two teams seem to have been revealed as well. Fans have posted an image of a graphic that aired during an advertisement for the Elimination Chamber show recently. The graphic clearly shows that Bayley & Sasha Banks will be in the match and so will the team of Naomi and Carmella. Barring any changes from WWE officials in light of the spoiled entrants, these two teams will be inserted into the match at some point within the next few weeks. The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will air live from Houston, Texas on February 17th.
The members of The Elite are doing all that they can to get fans talking about All Elite Wrestling. All of the AEW rallies and surprise appearances from The Elite at independent shows have done just that, and now it looks like AEW will be represented during the NFL’s biggest show of the year. Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, and several other members of the AEW roster have all posted messages on Twitter today informing fans that they will be in attendance for the Super Bowl game tonight. The big game takes place in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia this evening, which just so happens to be where the Rhodes family lives. It will be interesting to see if AEW makes a splash during the game tonight.
