WWE SmackDown LIVE Results (11/20): Survivor Series Fallout Show

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown LIVE opens up with a video package looking at The Charlotte Flair vs. RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey Match from this past Sunday at Survivor Series.

We are live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California as Tom Phillips welcomes us to SmackDown LIVE. He is joined by Corey Graves & Byron Saxton.

We go right to the ring and out comes Charlotte Flair to a huge crowd reaction. She gets on the mic and tells the crowd that yes, they should thank her because she put the baddest beating on the so-called Baddest Woman On The Planet and she’s damn proud of it. She then asks Ronda if she’s walking slower today, looking at her bruises and welts and looking for an apology, but she’s not sorry. She enjoyed every second of beating her ass.

Charlotte then says that Sunday was for SmackDown, for her girls in the locker room and for the champ. Charlotte then says that she has fought Becky Lynch and for Becky Lynch and she took it to heart when she told her to give Rousey a beating and a beating she gave her, making her bow down to the Queen.

SmackDown LIVE General Manager Paige makes her way down to the ring. She says that Charlotte doesn’t have to apologize because they all enjoyed the beating she gave Ronda, but she wants to make sure that Charlotte heard what Ronda said yesterday about coming and finding her. Charlotte then asks what the next PPV is and says that if Rousey sticks her nose in her business again she is gonna stick her head in a chair and stomp it a zillion times because no one is going to stop her.

Paige then says that is why she’s out here, because Flair snapped and put her hands on five WWE referees. Charlotte then says that they were in her way, but Paige says that you never, under any circumstance put your hands on an official and says that she has no choice. As general manager, she is going to fine Flair one hundred thousand dollars.

The IIconics make their way down to the ring. Billie Kay asks Peyton Royce what she’s doing, saying that she is in a trance like some female Frankenstein, or Charlotte at Survivor Series. They mock her mental capacity and say that they know they are Paige’s favorites, so they want to do her a favor by taking those hundred Gs. Flair asks which one of them wants to be the next Ronda Rousey and takes her robe off, ready to hand out a beating.

We go to a commercial break before any match can begin.

Back from the commercial break and the match is underway.

Charlotte Flair vs. Billie Kay: Charlotte starts off this one strong and she keeps Billie grounded with a side headlock. Billie fights up, but Charlotte drops her with an uppercut and then she follows up with some knee drops. Charlotte looks for the Figure Four, but Billie escapes and rolls outside for a breather. Charlotte follows her outside and a distraction from Peyton leads to Billie hitting a kick to the face. Back in the ring, Billie stomps on Charlotte, then she distracts the referee so Peyton can hit a cheap shot from ringside. Billie continues the offense until Charlotte catches her with a fallaway slam. Charlotte hits the Natural Selection for the three count. Winner: Charlotte Flair

After the match, Flair stands tall as the music hits. She calls for a mic. Flair says wait, only one of them is Ronda Rousey. Flair then says that Peyton is out here, so why not come back in the ring for a fight. Fans chant “yes!” and Flair says that she doesn’t have all day. Peyton helps Billie to the floor but she hesitates on going back in. Flair then says that she will play fair & square as Peyton slowly gets on the apron. Peyton enters the ring but immediately bolts back to the floor as fans boo. Flair stares The IIconics down as Tom wonders if we will get another match. We go to a commercial break as the screen splits. We see Peyton getting ready for the match as Flair holds her arm behind her back and waits on one knee. The match begins as the commercial break continues.

Back from the commercial break and the match is underway.

Charlotte Flair vs. Peyton Royce: Charlotte takes the fight to Peyton early on, but Peyton shuts her down with a knee to the face in the corner. Peyton continues the offense on Charlotte and drops her with a clothesline for a two count. Charlotte blocks a kick and answers with a big boot to Peyton’s face. Charlotte goes for a slam, but Billie Kay runs in and attacks Charlotte and the referee calls for the bell. Winner via DQ: Charlotte Flair

After the match, The IIconics double team Flair as fans chant for Becky. They toss her out of the ring as the boos continues. They try to get a steel chair but the timekeeper grabs it. They turn around to a double Spear from Flair. Flair unloads on them now and repeatedly slams their faces into the announce table at the same time. Flair sends Billie into the barrier and charges in with a knee to the face. Flair sends Peyton into the steel ring steps now. Flair tosses Billie and Peyton over the announce table now. Flair stands on top of the announce table and raises her arms as her music starts up.

Rey Mysterio cuts a promo talking about how Randy Orton is more dangerous and sadistic than ever, but he didn’t come back to WWE just to be another one of The Viper’s victims. Mysterio then says that Orton may be at the top of his game, but so is he and we will all watch and see what he does to Orton.

We get a recap of the match from last week where Daniel Bryan won The WWE Title from AJ Styles.

The Miz is backstage autographing a crew member’s copy of The Marine 6: Close Quarters on Blu-Ray to send us to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial break and The Miz welcomes us to another must-see edition of MizTV.

He soaks in “Miz is awesome!” chants for a second and says that it is good to be home. The Miz then says that he was honored to fight alongside tonight’s guest at Survivor Series, SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon. Shane McMahon makes his way rather gingerly into the ring and declines The Miz’s request for the shuffle before taking his seat. Miz says that Shane was transcendent at Survivor Series and as the kids would say he’s a Shane stan.

The Miz then says that it is only fitting that they were the last men standing for SmackDown LIVE, just like at The WWE World Cup. The Miz then says that they put everything on the line for their brand. McMahon then says that he is not sure of the “we” thing and admits that he doesn’t remember much of the end of the match. The Miz then says that he was using “we” metaphorically because they were on the same team and Shane points out that usually hosts have questions.

The A-Lister admits to being nervous and says that since he is 2/3s best in the world, he has one and only one question – “Shane McMahon, will you team up with me?” Shane then asks to do what and The Miz says that he wants to form a tag team. The Best Team in The World, in fact and at Survivor Series he didn’t just see a commissioner, but a champion. McMahon then says with their respective duties, he doesn’t know if, uh.

The Miz then says that he is disappointed and says that he thought he would be jumping for joy and if he is as much of a McMahon as he thinks he is, he will team with him right here right now against some kinda competition. Shane begs off and The Miz introduces two local tag team specialists, Wayne & Dwayne Bryant. The Miz orders The MizTV set cleared and I guess we’ve got a match.

The Best Team In The World (The Miz & Shane McMahon) vs. The Bryant Brothers (Wayne & Dwayne Bryant): Miz boots down one of the enhancement talents, then stomps on him while he’s down. Miz hits the DDT and it looks like Miz wants to tag in Shane. Shane tells Miz he should finish the match while his opponent is down, but Miz wastes time. The local talent snatches Miz and rolls him up in a small package for the three count. Winners: The Bryant Brothers (Wayne & Dane Bryant)

After the match, Wayne and Dwayne rush to the ramp and start celebrating. Shane looks on with a smirk on his face. Miz can’t believe what just happened. Miz pleads with Shane, who looks amused.

Commentary hypes up Starrcade this weekend, both the live event on Saturday and the one-hour broadcast special event on Sunday.

The New Day are backstage dressed as pilgrims and chanting 6-1 when they run into The Gobbledy Gooker, who takes his head off to reveal himself to be none other than R-Truth.

We go to a commercial break on a hype reel for tonight’s episode of Mixed Match Challenge.

Back from the commercial break and The New Day are in the ring with a Thanksgiving dinner spread out on tables in the ring and at ringside.

Kofi Kingston says that that spread can only mean one thing – Turkey Day. And that means that your boys The New Day will be participating in The First-Ever Thanksgiving Feast Fight, which is similar to normal Thanksgiving, except you can’t throw mashed potatoes at your creepy uncle. The New Day then says that they want to share what they are thankful for, to which Kofi is thankful for their tag team victory at Survivor Series, the 1 in 6-1, but for some reason it didn’t count towards the grand total.

Xavier Woods then says that he is thankful for his 2TB hard drive so he doesn’t have to delete Spider-Man to play Red Dead Redemption 2 and Big E says that he is thankful for the big, juicy, succulent breasts they have been blessed with on this day. Kofi is aghast, but Big E says that he is just talking about turkey and proceeds to lick the bird until The Bar’s entrance cuts him off.

Cesaro asks if they’re kidding, they’re the tag team champions and he’s sure Shane and Paige didn’t come up with this, it has to be The New Day’s stupid idea. Kofi then says when Paige was talking about stepping your game up, it wasn’t The New Day she was talking about, because they actually won their Survivor Series Match, unlike some people. Sheamus then asks if he’s taking the piss, because nobody can prepare for spontaneous urination. But they’re gonna make things right by kicking their arse after the commercial break.

Back from the commercial break and we are just in time for the bell.

The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) & The Big Show vs. The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (First-Ever Six-Man Tag Team Thanksgiving Feast Fight): Big Show starts off with some chops to the chest of Xavier Woods. Cesaro tags in and connects with some uppercuts, then Sheamus tags in for the double team. Sheamus and Woods trade kicks and then Cesaro tags back in. Woods fights back, then Kofi and Sheamus tag in. Kofi drops Sheamus with a flying clothesline, then he hits the boom drop. Kofi connects with a kick, then he hits a flying crossbody off the top on Sheamus. Cesaro and Woods come in but they get knocked outside. Big Show tries to come in, but Big E runs in and knocks Big Show off the apron and Big Show falls through the Thanksgiving dinner table. Sheamus throws Big E outside, then he grabs a turkey from another table at ringside. Sheamus brings the turkey in the ring and he swings at Kofi with it, but Kofi ducks. Kofi knocks Sheamus outside, then Kofi grabs the turkey and goes to the top turnbuckle. Kofi goes flying off the top down onto Sheamus at ringside and he hits Sheamus over the head with the turkey and Sheamus falls through a table at ringside. Back in the ring, Big E grabs another turkey and shoves his hand in it. Big E punches Sheamus with the turkey on his hand and covers for the three count. Winners: The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)

After the match, Big Show enters the ring and delivers his knockout punch. Cesaro and Sheamus join in but Woods and Kofi start unloading on them with various side dishes that Big E is sliding into the ring. Cesaro is laid out in the ring as The New Day begins celebrating. Sheamus tosses a side from the floor. It’s chaos at ringside as Superstars are slipping on food. That’s it for the Feast Fight.

We head backstage where Randy Orton picks up a Rey Mysterio mask and says that some folks think it represents culture and pride, but to him it means nothing and doesn’t deserve to be respected. Orton then says that it deserves to be destroyed just like the man who wears it. Orton then says that Rey came back to SmackDown and we were excited, but after he’s done with Mysterio, we will be shocked and disappointed, because of the three most destructive letters in sports entertainment, RKO.

We go backstage with Asuka and Naomi as they start walking to the ring to send us to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial break and we are just in time for the entrances of the next match.

Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose vs. Asuka & Naomi: Naomi starts off strong against Mandy, until Sonya gets the blind tag and spears down Naomi. Mandy tags back in for the double team, then she beats on Naomi in the corner. Asuka comes in and drops Mandy. Asuka sends Mandy into Sonya to knock Sonya off the apron. Asuka hits the shining wizard on Mandy for a two count. Sonya tags herself in on Mandy’s back and they almost accidentally collide which leads to an argument between Mandy and Sonya. The distraction leads to Asuka dropping them both from behind, then she puts Sonya in the Asuka Lock for the win. Winners: Asuka & Naomi

After the match, Asuka & Naomi celebrate as Rose & Deville have a few words while heading to the back.

We get a recap of Randy Orton & Rey Mysterio’s interactions over the past month or so and the promise of WWE Champion Daniel Bryan for later on tonight to send us to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial break and we get The Lars Sullivan coming soon video vignette.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan makes his entrance and commentary informs us that AJ Styles will in fact get his rematch at WWE TLC.

He begins by saying that he doesn’t expect these people to understand, but this explanation isn’t for them, it’s for you, because Daniel Bryan committed an act of betrayal. Bryan then says but that act was not last Tuesday, no, that was nearly three years ago when he stood in front of the crowd and announced his retirement. Bryan then says his betrayal occurred when he gave up on his dreams. But Bryan doesn’t give up, he learned from his mistake and fought, going to doctors and spent three hours every day inside of a hyperbaric chamber. Inside that cold, dark enclosed chamber, pumped with 100% oxygen, it was meant to speed up the healing process but it did way more than that, it allowed himself the silence and isolation he needed to meditate on his new mantra – “fight for your dreams and your dreams will fight for you.”

Bryan then says and it worked. How else would you explain the miracle that against all odds he returned to the ring. And when he did, he received the loudest Yes! chants ever and it was a great moment, but for these people, it was just a moment. Bryan then says that they weren’t there for the struggle, they weren’t there for the pain, for the fights with his family, with the psychiatrist and the therapist telling him he just needed to move on. Bryan then says that the only people that moved on were these people and you can hear it as we speak and the idiots chant for AJ Styles. Bryan then says that it takes a second but the idiots do in fact take the bait and start chanting for AJ. Bryan continues, calling them a fickle bunch and with increasing intensity before saying you heard the Yes! chants grow quieter every week and Daniel Bryan stopped fighting.

Bryan then says so when the referee was down, you didn’t allow him to give up on his dreams and his dreams took over. Bryan then says that they did what they were programmed to do inside of that hyperbaric chamber and his dreams kicked AJ Styles in the balls. Bryan then says that the dreams made him realize he didn’t need these people for anything and they told him that at Survivor Series he didn’t need to beat Brock Lesnar to win, he won by allowing Brock to beat the weakness out of him.

Bryan then says that the dreams told him to allow Lesnar to beat the weakness out and there would be a new emergence after that match and there has been. The old Daniel Bryan, the one that these people loved, that man is dead. The Yes! Movement is dead and all that is left is the new Daniel Bryan. The WWE Champion. And the only thing that matters is that you never, ever give up on your dream, ever ever again. He goes and accosts the ring announcer, who then introduces him as the new Daniel Bryan.
