JBL Close To The Top Of Kilimanjaro, Jerry Lawler Advertised For Show Tonight

– Just two weeks after suffering a major heart attack, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler is returning to work tonight. Lawler is advertised to be a ringside commentator for a independent wrestling show (New Experience Wrestling) at the Mid-South Fair in Southaven, Mississippi tonight. Lawler is also scheduled to appear at the NWA Warriors of Wrestling Federation’s Wrestling For Our Heroes event next weekend, Saturday, October 6th, at the Tennessee National Guard Armory in Dyersburg, TN.

– Former WWE Champion JBL is very close to reaching the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. He tweeted yesterday:

“Gonna try and summit tomorrow, freezing rain/snow right now. 8-9 hours and 3300 feet to top of Africa! @wwe #sevensummitsforkids”

Friday morning, he tweeted and touted this:

“Preparing for summit day, freezing rain and cold outside. Short night sleep and 4a start.”
