The Latest On Daniel Bryan’s WWE Status; Has He Finally Signed a New Deal?
WWE Smackdown Live star Daniel Bryan, who has been announced for WWE events well beyond the beginning of October, has been the subject of much speculation as his latest WWE deal was set to expire on September 1st.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Daniel Bryan agreed verbally to re-sign with WWE, and as of September 3rd he finally put pen to paper on a new WWE contract. The report adds, however, that as of 9/3 WWE had yet to sign the deal, but that is merely a formality, and the deal should be finalized on both ends very soon.
The reasons for Daniel Bryan remaining with WWE were apparent, and The Observer notes that while the decision to stay with the company was not an easy one for Bryan, in the end it appears as if both he and WWE came out of the deal getting what they had hoped for.
Bryan is next set to team up with his wife Brie Bella at the upcoming WWE Hell in a Cell PPV to face the team of The Miz and Maryse. Bryan will also be facing The Miz in a singles match at the WWE Super Show-Down event, with the winner receiving a future WWE Title shot.
