— Josh Matthews and Don Callis welcome us to Mexico City as a video package recaps everything from last week: Austin Aries defending the Impact World Championship against Texano; Johnny Impact and Eddie Edwards’ returns; Brian Cage coming to the aid of the Lucha Brothers and more!

TESSA BLANCHARD vs. FABY APACHE

The Impact Knockouts Champion takes on the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion! Zero respect from Tessa, with big stomps to the back of the head and hard slaps. Lots of suplexes and slow, power offense early on. Faby caught her with an O’Conner roll out of nowhere into a Figure Four, but they were too close to the ropes. They traded hard chops and strikes, but this time it was Faby who got the better of the exchange, connecting with Angel’s Wings for a nearfall. They battled up in the ropes, and Tessa managed to hit the Magnum from the top rope, but her opponent somehow kicked out. The Buzzsaw DDT connected, and this time it was enough to put Faby away.

Winner: Tessa Blanchard

— Tessa got on the mic and said she ran through the entire Knockouts locker room, and now she’s defeated the best women’s champion in Mexico. Therefor that makes her not only the best wrestler, and the best athlete in professional wrestling. She was cut off by a video package from Taya Valkyrie, speaking Spanish for the live crowd. Taya talked about building a career in Mexico, and claimed that Tessa couldn’t call herself the best until she proved herself against La Reina de la Lucha Libre (the Queen of Wrestling). The challenge was thrown down: Blanchard vs. Valkyrie for the title at Bound for Glory.

— Eddie Edwards and Johnny Impact prepare for battle backstage. They’ve got Killer Cross and Moose tonight, but there’s still some issues between Eddie and Alisha that need to be worked through, apparently.

— Video package for Eli Drake touring around Mexico, pretending he can speak Spanish, hitting on the local chicks, and being super obnoxious. Dummy, sí!

JAKE CRIST (w/ OVE) vs. BRIAN CAGE

Cage hit a big splash in the corner to get things started, followed by a big back body drop. He hit the ring post hard and rolled to the floor, taking a beating from Dave and Sami, as apparently this is a No Disqualifications match. Dave did a Tornado DDT off the barricade to the floor, rolling the big man back inside for Jake to go to work on. They slowed things down briefly before Cage came back, deadlifting his opponent into a huge powerbomb, right on top of his knee. Cage with a 619 and a diving elbow drop for a nearfall, followed by a giant Alabama Slam for another nearfall. Jake hit a superkick with what little gas he had in the tank, and connected with a cutter off the top rope, but the big man powered out at ONE. The Drill Claw connected, and this one’s over.

Winner: Brian Cage

— OVE hit the ring and attacked Cage after the match. The lights went out, and when they came back on Dave Crist had mysteriously vanished. Pentagon Jr. and Fenix appeared on the tron and had Dave chained up to a chair in the back, and began pelting him with superkicks as Sami Callihan looked like he was about to cry. Cage took out both Sami and Jake with clotheslines, then vaulted over the ropes with a tope con hilo to send them packing.

— Grado and Joe Hendry are in the back bro-ing out together. Katarina is not happy about being shunned by the both of them, but has apparently found herself a new man… Murder Clown? Yes, Murder Clown of the AAA faction Los Psycho Circus.

DESI HIT SQUAD vs. LAX (Santana & Ortiz)

Santana and Rohit had a nice back and forth mat exchange to get things started, until Ortiz tagged in and LAX went to work with their signature double team offense. Lots of chops and strikes from Ortiz until the ref got distracted and Singh beat him down on the outside. Desi worked him over for several minutes, slowing things down and working quick tags, constantly attacking Santana on the apron and making sure they LAX couldn’t help each other. Eventually Ortiz rallied and made the hot tag, and things turned into a wild brawl. DHS did a great double team combo hitting a leg sweep into a Backstabber, followed by a ton of rapid kicks and strikes, but Santana made the save. Double cannonball splash in the corner from LAX, followed by the Blockbuster/Powerbomb combo in the corner for the win.

Winners: LAX

— Eddie Kingston cut a promo with The OGz backstage. He help up Konnan’s old mask from decades ago, and said this was the last time the Mexican people and the wrestlers had any respect for him. King said once Konnan lost his mask he began leaching off Eddie Guerrero, and is STILL leaching off Rey Mysterio. They lit the mask on fire as the Mexican crowd booed and called them assholes.

— Tessa Blanchard was interviewed and said it was interesting that Taya disappeared from Impact while she was on her way in. She has agreed to defend her title at Bound for Glory, and promised to show Taya the “real bitch” next month.

KIERA HOGAN & ALLIE vs. SU YUNG & THE UNDEAD MAID OF HONOR

Intense staredown between Su and Allie before they started trading wild rights and lefts. The Maid of Honor tagged in and took a beating from both ladies, as Hogan dropped her with a superkick and Allie lit her up with tons of running forearm strikes in the corner. She hit a Meteora in the ropes and slid to the outside, but that was what Su was waiting for, and attacked her from behind. Yung finally tagged in and went to work on Allie, who mounted her comeback and connected with a Backstabber. She tried to make the tag, but the MoH knocked Hogan off the apron. Big collision from both girls in the center of the ring. Finally Kiera got the hot tag and connected with a big superkick, followed by a series of running dropkicks in the corner. Big running knee strike connected, but she only got two. Allie took out the Maid of Honor, and Kiera hit a spinning neckbreaker with a bridge pin, scoring an unexpected win on the former champion.

Winners: Allie & Kiera Hogan

— Next week Murder Clown vs. Joe Hendry, plus Su Yung gets her hands on Kiera Hogan in singles competition, and Eli Drake returns to make an Open Challenge for any lucha libre star to answer!

EDDIE EDWARDS & JOHNNY IMPACT vs. KILLER CROSS & MOOSE (w/ Austin Aries)

Eddie wanted to start but bit off way more than he could chew. Moose ran through him like a freight train, and Cross made frequent tags as the two brutes just mercilessly destroyed him. After several minutes we got a bit of a miscommunication, and Impact was able to make the hot tag. He hit a series of dropkicks on Cross and went to the top rope, hoping for Starship Pain but landed on his feet instead. Cross with a huge clothesline turned him inside out. Hot tags on both sides, and they brawled on the top rope until Eddie connected with a Frankensteiner. Cross broke up the pin and hit a bunch of suplexes, until he went to the floor to brawl with Johnny. Impact climbed the rails into the bleacher seats and flew all the way to the floor, taking out Killer with a Moonlight Drive on the concrete. Moose lined up for a spear but Eddie moved out of the way and connected with a huge Blue Thunder Bomb for a nearfall. Impact back in the ring and Moose started throwing haymakers to both guys. Eddie dropped the big man with a superkick, as Impact did the same to Cross. Austin Aries got in the ring and started yelling at the referee. Johnny blasted him with the Impact World Championship and posed with the belt, but Cross used the distraction to hit a Saito suplex. Moose with a giant spear for the win.

Winners: Moose & Killer Cross
