Shawn Michaels Recalls First Raw Match, Lana Loses Control During MMC Training (Videos), Impact Name Hosting JR Show

WWE has released the above backstage video featuring Shawn Michaels from this week’s Raw 25 special.

At the original home of Monday Night Raw, HBK reflects on the show’s 25-year history and his Intercontinental Title defense on its first episode.

During the video, Shawn Michaels notes the differences between Raw at the Manhattan Center 25 years ago compared to today, and he said the crew was much smaller. He compared the night so far to a high school reunion, as him and some old stars reminisced about the past.

HBK then talked his first match against Max Moon, and said it was comforting to know that he was in the ring with someone that he knew well, as they were dealing with a lot of new unknowns, like commercial breaks, etc.

Michaels said one thing missing from Raw 25 is Vince McMahon in his old tuxedo doing commentary for the special.
